Pete and Chris provide their own unique interpretations of Blues from the 1920´s right up to the present day. Original arrangements and style give new life to old arrangements and make this band different.
The complimentary sounds of guitar men Andy and Sid, blend perfectly to provide the Jazz and Blues backing to Bridget´s powerful vocals on a variety of songs ranging from the earthy blues of Bessie Smith to the classy style of Billie Holliday.
Blues stylist Pete Hayward´s finger picking and vocals get solid support from the R ´n´ B influenced sounds of guitar ace Chris Willey on a wide range of Blues, from the Delta to Memphis and beyond.
Steve is a guitarist whose playing covers everything from electric blues and jazz, to hand picked acoustic and slide styles, as well as a soulful vocalist.
The RJO re-create rhe spirit of the ´Naughty Nineties´ and ´Roaring Twenties´ with an affectionate take on the good time dance music of the cabarets and jook joints of the American South.
