Crown and Trumpet Inn

"This is a lovely golden stone building, with a heavily tiled roof attractively set close to the church and the village green. Its a down-to-earth place, popular locally, with a cheerful and thriving atmosphere, and a cosily unpretentious beamed and timbered bar with dark high-backed settles and a blazing log fire, live sing-along music on Saturday evenings, darts and shove-hapenny."
From the Good Pub Guide

"Broadway is a picture postcard village, full of honey-coloured stone buildings, of which the Crown and Trumpet is a fine example. This lively pub offers many regular attractions in the way of entertainment while every second Thursday is blues night, and music on Saturday evenings. There is a good selection of traditional pub games, including Evesham quoits. An excellent menu is served daily. Oak beams and a log fire provide a warm atmosphere in which to dine and sample the range of real ales. Broadway is popularly known as the Gateway to the Cotswolds and is within easy reach of many of the major tourist attractions."

Inside the Crown and Trumpet

"Evesham Quoits and Ring the Bull are still played at this lively 17th century stone pub behind Broadway's village green. Upholding traditional pub virtues is one of its strengths: landlord Andrew Scott dispenses mulled wine in winter, serves roast rib-eye beef for Sunday lunch and celebrates the local asparagus harvest with a special menu devoted to this prized English crop. Throughout the year you can also sample a range of decent home cooked dishes with a few regional overtones - Evesham pie is beef cooked in a plum sauce."
