Horse Racing

Cheltenham Races Cheltenham Races

Being not far away from the Inn, Cheltenham´s world famous horse racing course is at Prestbury Park. The main hurdles event being the Gold Cup National Hunt Festival week in March and The Open in November.

And with Horse Racing available at nearby Stratford, Warwick and Worcester Racecourses, you are sure to find racing to meet your needs.

During Cheltenham Race Week we can provide Racing Breakfasts and Dinners for small groups.

Stanway House

The Stanway Watergarden, one of the finest in England, was created in the 1720s for John Tracy, probably by Charles Bridgeman, gardener to Lord Cobham at Stowe, Buckinghamshire from 1719 and Royal Gardener from 1727, who invented the English style of gardening, which superceded the Franco-Dutch style.

The town centre is divided into several main shopping districts: The Promenade is one of the UK´s most arresting boulevards, Regent Street is another attractive shopping with the famous Regent Arcade. CheltenhamHigh Street is renowned for shopping with style. Along with the usual big names, it is home to the Beechwood Shopping Centre. The Brewery is a recently developed retail and leisure area, located near Lower High Street.
